Infrastructure Platform Engineer

As an Infrastructure Platform Engineer, you will help create and maintain the physical and virtual environments that enable system integration, validation, testing, and deployment. Your day may include improving VMware or Proxmox platforms, resolving complex network or storage issues, automating repetitive infrastructure tasks, or working with development and validation teams to prepare secure and reliable environments for the next release. You will join a collaborative, international team where hands-on engineering, ownership, and continuous improvement are central to how we work.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize physical and virtual infrastructure across lab, development, integration, test, validation, and production-like environments.
• Operate and improve compute, virtualization, networking, storage, backup, and recovery platforms while addressing availability, capacity, security, and lifecycle risks.
• Build infrastructure that is secure, stable, scalable, and ready for validation, release, deployment, and operational support.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, servers, virtualization, networks, firewalls, storage, and supporting platform services.
• Automate infrastructure configuration and deployment using scripting, configuration management, Infrastructure as Code, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Collaborate with software, validation, architecture, product, and operations colleagues to standardize platforms, improve delivery flow, and strengthen technical documentation.

• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSAN and ESXi; experience with Proxmox VE and CEPH is an advantage.
• Practical knowledge of HPE servers and iLO, storage area networks, network-attached storage, backup and recovery solutions, and Windows or Linux server administration.
• Strong networking experience covering Cisco routing and switching, virtual local area networks, TCP/IP, site-to-site virtual private networks, Palo Alto firewalls, segmentation, security, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with automation technologies such as Ansible, PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, Git, Infrastructure as Code, or continuous integration and delivery tooling.
• A structured and analytical approach to troubleshooting, together with a hands-on mindset, ownership, and a focus on secure and reliable solutions.
• Good collaboration and communication skills in an international environment; experience with industrial systems, SCADA, operational technology, Jira, Confluence, Agile, or SAFe is an advantage.

We work across hardware, virtualization, networking, storage, security, and automation, partnering closely with engineering and operational teams to build dependable platform services.
