Finance Associate

About The Role

Quantum Light is looking for a hands-on Finance Associate to join our Finance team and work closely with the CFO across the day-to-day finance function.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 3-4 years of accounting or audit experience who loves working with numbers, is highly detail-oriented, and wants broad exposure to a fast-moving investment business.

What You’ll Do

• Own monthly financial reporting and management reporting packs.
• Reconcile and manage financial data across Quantum Light entities, including the UK and Dubai.
• Support the CFO with reporting and consolidation.
• Prepare and review payments, including high-value investment-related transactions.
• Own recurring finance processes and improve how we work, from spreadsheets to workflows.
• Build tracking and reporting for areas such as travel, subscriptions, and payroll.
• Partner with Legal, Investment, Fundraising and other teams on finance-related requests.
• Support finance projects and process improvements across the business.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–4 years' experience in accounting, audit, or a similar finance role.
• Big Four/Top 10 experience
• Strong accounting fundamentals and excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• ACCA or ACA qualified, or working towards a qualification.
• Familiarity with Xero and UK VAT/corporation tax is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and confidence handling financial data and high-value transactions.
• Analytical, organised and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
