Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000 (plus bonus)


SNtial is conducting a confidential search for a Director, Enterprise Data & Digital Systems to lead the development, reliability, and scalability of an enterprise data environment and the digital systems that support customer-facing interactions. The role is primarily focused on data architecture, analytics capabilities, governance, and reporting infrastructure, while also overseeing essential digital platforms such as ecommerce, online ordering, loyalty, and mobile applications. This position is hybrid, with in-office presence required Tuesday–Thursday.


Responsibilities

Enterprise Data Leadership

• Define and execute the enterprise data strategy, including architecture, pipelines, modeling, BI tooling, and reporting infrastructure.

• Build and maintain the data platform supporting Operations, Marketing, Finance, and other business functions.

• Establish data governance standards and manage relationships with data platform vendors.

• Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

• Oversee data quality, reliability, and accessibility across systems and teams.

Digital Systems Oversight

• Oversee technology supporting digital ordering and customer-facing channels, including ecommerce, online ordering, loyalty, and mobile.

• Ensure stable integrations across multi-vendor platforms (POS, payment, loyalty, catering).

• Partner with Marketing, Ecommerce Operations, and Finance to align digital system enhancements with business priorities.

• Support the digital experience across high-volume, transaction-heavy channels.

Team & Operational Leadership

• Build and manage the data and digital systems team, including hiring, development, and performance management.

• Establish delivery standards, operating cadence, and accountability structures.

• Represent the function at the executive level when needed.

• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance across data and digital partners.

• Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

• Working knowledge of enterprise data engineering, pipeline architecture, data modeling, and BI platform selection.

• Familiarity with digital commerce systems and online ordering platforms.

• Experience managing external development or analytics partners.

• Background in budget management, vendor contracts, and technology roadmaps.

• Ability to lead teams in resource-constrained or ambiguous environments.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, information systems, business, or related field.

• 8–12 years of progressive experience in technology roles, including leadership of data, digital product, or platform teams.

• Experience in restaurant, retail, hospitality, or multi-unit consumer businesses preferred.

AI Expectations

• Use AI to accelerate requirements gathering, technical documentation, and partner briefings.

• Apply AI to analyze platform performance data and identify trends that inform roadmap priorities.

• Leverage AI for research on data platforms, ecommerce approaches, and industry best practices.

• Use AI to streamline stakeholder communications and vendor performance summaries.

• Apply AI to review and summarize code or pipeline deliverables to improve oversight efficiency.
