What You’ll Do

  • Work cross functionally to identify and drive operational and process improvement projects across World Market’s supply chain organization.
  • Develop end-to-end supply chain solutions that leverage the broader World Market volume, systems, and partnerships, while driving consistently higher levels of service and maximizing productivity.
  • Utilize quantitative and modeling skills to analyze large amounts of data and draw conclusions, develop a project plan, present plan for approval, and drive development of project management tasks, resource identification, and implementation planning. Exercise vertical and horizontal communication for progress on deliverables.
  • Utilize mathematical and statistical methods/formulas, financial analysis (e.g., IRR, ROI, NPV, etc.), and sensitivity analyses to develop and present cost-benefits analysis and go-forward recommendations.
  • Provide insightful, solution-oriented, oral and written recommendations to executive management and appropriate business partners around new practices, processes, metrics, or models.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and periodic reporting to help drive execution, process uniformity, and improvement throughout the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers on projects to improve the velocity and flow of product throughout the supply chain, while minimizing occurrences and sources of friction.
  • Optimize company assets which is inclusive of physical building and utilities, manufacturing/ warehouse equipment and tooling, office devices and physical layout of facility.
  • Identify new technologies and associated processes to drive efficiency, productivity and optimal network design. This should include interfacing with Manufacturing, Planning, Transportation and Commercial strategies to ensure optimal end-to-end supply chain solution.
  • Assimilate into the team and drive solutions and results to expected outcomes.
  • Travel up to 50%.
  • Work Location: Remote. You will be supporting our Stockton CA Distribution Center and our Windsor VA Distribution Center and be required to travel to both locations based on business needs.

Work Location: Windsor Virginia Distribution Center or Stockton California Distribution Center.

This is an onsite position at the respective location in Windsor Virginia or Stockton California. Daily reporting to the local facility is required.

Experience & Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelors Degree in technical/analytical discipline or related field preferred.
  • Master’s degree in business and/or Supply Chain/Logistics discipline is a plus.
  • 4 years’ experience in supply chain management or related field.
  • LEAN/Six Sigma experience (Green belt or higher) is a plus.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a project-oriented environment, with the proven ability to state case for change and work to drive improvement.
  • Thorough understanding of distribution operations, supply/demand planning, and/or transportation methods/modes.
  • Hands on experience with Tableau, SQL and Excel and other data analytic tools.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with multiple levels and functions within the organization, as well as field and corporate locations.

Pay Range is $100,000-$150,000 annually.

Placement within this range depends on geographic labor market differentials and experience.

Full time and Part time associates are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan after three (3) months of service.

Benefits for full-time employment on the first of the month following 30 days of continuous employment include offerings for programs including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending, Commuter Benefits and Employee Assistance.
