THE 360 COMPANIES INC.

Location: Cebu City, Philippines — Full onsite

Schedule: US Pacific (PST) business hours

Employment type: Full-time

We are looking for a hands-on Finance & Accounting Manager to lead our Philippine accounting team while remaining an active individual contributor. This is a dual role: you will manage and develop the team, own process and controls, and personally execute core accounting, payroll, compliance, and reporting work. You will also serve as a redundancy layer across the team — capable of stepping into the duties of the Accounts Payable Specialist and other accounting roles to keep operations uninterrupted.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a lean environment, is fluent in Philippine statutory compliance, and is comfortable supporting US-based finance functions during US Pacific hours.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Deep, current knowledge of Philippine statutory compliance (BIR, SEC, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, DOLE, LGU; BOI a plus).
  • Proven experience managing PH payroll and benefits.
  • Strong command of the full accounting cycle, month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Willingness and ability to work full onsite on US Pacific hours.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting a US-based or multinational company.
  • Familiarity with US accounting tasks and GAAP concepts.
  • Experience building SOPs and improving finance processes in a growing organization.
  • Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Own and execute the month-end close process end to end, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain forecasts and rolling projections.
  • Build, manage, and monitor annual and departmental budgets; analyze variances and report on performance.
  • Maintain accurate books and ensure financial records comply with applicable standards.

Payroll & Employee Benefits (PH)

  • Manage end-to-end Philippine payroll, including computation, disbursement, and statutory deductions.
  • Administer PH employee benefits, including mandatory contributions and company benefit programs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing and remittance of all payroll-related statutory obligations.

Philippine Compliance & Government Statutory Filings

  • Ensure full compliance across all relevant government and statutory bodies, including but not limited to:

BIR (tax filings, withholding, returns)

LGU (business permits, local taxes)

SEC (corporate filings and reportorial requirements)

BOI (incentive and reporting obligations, where applicable)

SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth (registration, contributions, remittances)

DOLE (labor standards and reporting compliance)

  • Monitor regulatory changes and maintain the company's compliance calendar.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and government agencies as needed.

US Finance Support

  • Support US-based finance tasks and reporting requirements during US Pacific hours.
  • Coordinate with the US finance team on intercompany, reconciliations, and reporting deliverables.

Operational Redundancy & Cross-Coverage

  • Provide backup coverage for Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment runs.
  • Serve as redundancy across accounting roles, able to step into team members' core duties to ensure continuity.
  • Support Accounts Receivable functions as a backup, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.

Team Leadership & Process

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
  • Create, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance, payroll, compliance, and admin functions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, controls, and efficiencies.
  • Balance managerial oversight with hands-on individual contribution.

BENEFITS:

  • Salary Range: Php65,000 - Php75,000 per month
  • Monthly Perfect Attendance Bonus of Php2,000
  • Complete Government Contributions
  • Fun, Friendly, and Non-toxic Environment
  • Free Coffee every day!
  • HMO and Life Insurance on day 1
  • Paid Time Off
  • Annual Appraisal (Based on Performance)
  • 5 Day Work Week
  • Anniversary Bonus
  • Dress Down Fridays!

What Success Looks Like

  • A clean, on-time month-end close every period.
  • 100% compliance with all PH government and statutory requirements — zero penalties, with all filings and reports submitted on time.
  • Documented SOPs that make the finance function resilient and not dependent on any single person.
  • A capable, well-supported accounting team — with you able to cover any seat when needed.
