Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing all accounting functions within the casino, including financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal/external audits. This role oversees the accounting team, ensures the accuracy of financial records, and maintains compliance with gaming laws and internal policies.
- Plays a key role in strategic financial planning and supports executive leadership with financial insights and reports.
- The Finance Manager is responsible for the overall supervision of Casino Accounting group.
- Responsible in the proper and timely recording of the revenues and expenses, assets and liabilities of the Casino.
- Responsible in the integrity of the Casino’s financial reports. Ensures all accounting functions are performed in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and with the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Monitors and resolves issues on operational procedures relative to financial compliance and financial reporting.
- Attend to internal and external audits and reviews. Supervise and support accounting staff, assign tasks, conduct performance evaluations, and provide training as needed.
- Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepares monthly financial statements and other gaming financial reports or analysis to support management decisions.
- Responsible on the dissemination of Casino financial reports to the Management and to other internal and external stakeholders.
- Builds and maintains relationships with the department heads across the Company to understand issues and identify areas for improvement for the Casino and assist in carrying out recommendations.
- Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis to support management decisions.
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) will be an advantage.
- Three to Five ( 3-5) years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Supervisory or management experience.
- Familiarity with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
