An established global professional services and consulting firm is expanding its cloud data capability. The team supports enterprise clients across regulated industries including banking and financial services, building out modern data platforms on Microsoft Azure.

Project Overview

You'll join a team designing and building enterprise-grade data solutions on Azure, translating business requirements into scalable architectures that support data platforms, warehouses, and lakes across client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into scalable data architecture and solution designs
• Design, document, and present cloud-based data and infrastructure solutions
• Design and build large-scale, high-performing data platforms, warehouses, and lakes
• Develop data solutions using Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and related cloud technologies
• Apply modern data architecture patterns including Data Vault and Medallion Architecture Define and implement data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices
• Design solutions for data integration, processing, analytics, and reporting Apply cloud services, machine learning, and AI capabilities to advanced data and analytics solutions
• Contribute to project planning including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and estimation
• Partner with business, technical, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
• Communicate technical concepts and business value to both technical and executive audiences Support escalation management when timelines, quality, or delivery are at risk

Required Skills

• Demonstrable experience designing and building data solutions
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data platforms
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and/or Databricks
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures
• Practical knowledge of Data Vault and Medallion Architecture
• Experience with relational and non-relational database technologies
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, security, and data management principles
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in international or multicultural environments
• Fluent English

Nice to Have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services
• Cloud Architect and/or Data Architect certification
• Experience with machine learning and AI-driven data solutions
• German language skills
