AIsight is looking for a hands-on Manager, Finance to build and run our local finance function in Korea from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to own the full finance operation for a fast-growing technology venture, backed by a global technology leader, while working closely with local engineering, business, and global finance teams.

What You'll Do
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, preparing accurate financial statements under IFRS
- Build the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans from the ground up
- Deliver financial reporting packages and variance analyses to local leadership and global finance
- Partner directly with R&D, product, and business development teams on project-level budgets
- Lead cash flow forecasting, working capital analysis, and banking relationships in Korea
- Design internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes that scale with the business
- Manage transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, and consolidation with global entities
- Handle Korean statutory reporting, corporate tax filings, VAT, and payroll tax compliance, working directly with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators
- Ensure compliance with Korean labor law and related financial obligations
- Turn financial and operational data into clear recommendations for hiring, capex, and investment decisions
- Select and implement financial systems that meet both local and global reporting needs
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5–8+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience in Korea, ideally with startup or hardware/tech exposure
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Korean statutory/tax requirements; multinational or subsidiary accounting experience is a plus
- Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
- Business-level fluency in English and Korean
- Comfort working across time zones with international teams
Nice to have: Korean CPA (KICPA), CMA, or MBA; experience in semiconductors, consumer electronics, AI/robotics, or wearables; experience supporting a new entity or carve-out within a larger corporate structure; familiarity with R&D cost accounting.
