Software Engineer

A large healthcare technology business is looking for an experienced engineer to join the team. This role focuses on the development and operation of modern web applications within a software-as-a-service portfolio, integrating advanced technologies to improve medical workflows. The successful candidate will work across the full stack to build reliable, cloud-native services that directly impact providers and patients.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and operating modern web applications across a diverse SaaS portfolio using frontend, backend, and DevOps layers.

• Integrating generative technologies and structured workflows into products to create value for medical professionals and patients.

• Developing cloud-native services with a strict focus on reliability, security, and developer productivity.

• Collaborating with product management and UX teams to establish best practices for software engineering and technical quality.

• Maintaining a deep understanding of healthcare workflows to ensure feature development is outcome-driven and user-centric.

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in full-stack engineering with deep knowledge of React or Angular, and Java Spring Boot or Python.

• A university degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proficiency with technologies such as Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud environments.

• Proven experience implementing advanced automation tools, language model integrations, and data pipelines in a production environment.

• Professional fluency in both German and English with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
