Location: Munich, Germany (4-days on-site)
Package: €125,000 to €155,000 base + Bonus

We are partnering exclusively with a leading international Logistics & Packaging Solutions, Private Equity-backed organisation to appoint a Director of Group Reporting & Planning. This is a senior finance leadership position responsible for group-wide reporting, planning, and financial analysis across a complex, multi-entity environment.
Reporting into the senior Group Controlling leadership team, the Director will lead a team of approximately five and ensure that management, shareholders and other senior stakeholders receive accurate, timely and decision-useful financial information.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of approximately five finance professionals
- Own the delivery of accurate and timely group-level financial reporting
- Coordinate the budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles across multiple entities
- Provide clear financial analysis and insight to executive management and shareholders
- Strengthen reporting quality, data integrity and consistency across the Group
- Challenge submissions, assumptions and performance across regional and business-unit teams
- Drive improvements across reporting processes, systems and governance
- Support cross-functional projects, including systems implementation, process optimisation and integration activity
- Act as a senior finance partner to the CFO and wider C-suite
Candidate profile
- Significant experience in Group Controlling, Group Reporting, FP&A or a related group finance function
- Proven leadership experience, ideally within an international, multi-entity organisation
- Strong understanding of IFRS and group-level financial reporting
- Experience operating within a Private Equity-backed or similarly high-performance environment
- Track record of managing complex budget and forecast processes from initiation through to sign-off
- Strong systems capability, with OneStream preferred; Tagetik, Lucanet, Oracle HFM or Navision also considered
- Strong SAP experience, ideally including FI/CO
- Hands-on, commercially minded and comfortable operating with senior stakeholders
- Fluent English; German or Spanish would be advantageous
