For a private equity-backed industrial company, we are looking for an entrepreneurial Chief Financial & Corporate Officer.

The position combines full CFO responsibility with the development of key corporate functions. This is not a traditional, purely administrative finance role. We are looking for an experienced leader who can build structures, make decisions and successfully transition the organisation towards an independent, agile mid-market operating model.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall responsibility for Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury and Tax
• Building and leading a high-performing finance organisation
• Responsibility for additional corporate functions, including IT, Legal, Compliance, Risk and Insurance
• Establishing robust reporting, planning, cash management and governance structures
• Further developing the ERP, data and process landscape
• Managing capital expenditure, liquidity, covenants and overall financial performance
• Working closely with the CEO, management team, Board and investor
• Playing an active role in shaping the company’s stand-alone development and transformation

REQUIRED PROFILE

• Several years of experience as a CFO, Chief Financial & Corporate Officer or Senior Finance Director
• Proven track record of building a finance function
• Experience in a carve-out, stand-alone setup or comparable transformation
• Background in a manufacturing or asset-intensive business
• Experience in a private equity environment
• Strong hands-on mentality and an entrepreneurial mid-market mindset
• Willingness to take responsibility beyond the traditional finance remit
• Long-term interest in an entrepreneurial C-level position
