Director of Operations

🕒 Full-Time | Multi-Site Leadership


A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee three urgent care facilities in Martin County, Florida.


This position is ideal for a hands-on healthcare operations leader who can improve performance, standardize processes, develop strong teams, and ensure an excellent patient experience across multiple locations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational oversight for three urgent care facilities
  • Lead and support facility managers and clinical support teams
  • Oversee patient flow, staffing, scheduling, productivity, and service delivery
  • Establish consistent policies and performance standards across all locations
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, labor costs, revenue, and productivity
  • Track KPIs such as patient volume, wait times, patient satisfaction, staffing efficiency, and quality
  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing teams
  • Partner with clinical leadership to improve workflows and patient access
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, accreditation standards, and applicable healthcare regulations
  • Oversee vendors, facilities, equipment, supplies, and operational contracts
  • Support registration, insurance verification, billing, collections, and revenue-cycle processes
  • Lead operational improvement and service-expansion initiatives
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for executive leadership


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred
  • At least five years of healthcare operations experience
  • Multi-site leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in urgent care, ambulatory care, physician practices, medical groups, or outpatient clinics preferred
  • Demonstrated success managing staff, budgets, productivity, and operational performance
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, patient privacy, quality standards, and revenue-cycle operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records, scheduling systems, and operational reporting tools
  • Ability to travel regularly among the three facilities
  • Some evening or weekend availability may be required based on operational needs
