Business Analyst (Hybrid)

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Specialist to perform financial analysis of SAP cost data. This position will extract, clean, and prepare cost data from SAP, complete duties related to the monthly close, and support financial budgeting and long-range planning.

• Perform financial analysis of SAP cost data.
• Extract, clean, and prepare cost data from SAP for analysis.
• Complete related duties for the monthly close.
• Support financial budgeting and long-range planning.
• Extract information from various sources and systems.
• Integrate and summarize data into reports using Excel and Access.
• Validate and analyze financial data and report results.
• Translate complex financial data into decision-making inputs and business recommendations.
• Design integrated reports using advanced Excel functions and other data-query tools.
• Develop, build, and maintain dynamic financial models for budgeting and reporting.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Apply managerial accounting concepts and present financial information to associates with financial and non-financial backgrounds.
• Develop creative solutions and demonstrate leadership.
• Foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of four years of experience performing this specific job function.
• Strong skills using SAP, Microsoft Access, and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to extract, integrate, summarize, validate, and analyze information from multiple sources and systems.
• Strong data-manipulation and data-mining skills.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into business recommendations.
• Strong ability to design integrated reports using advanced Excel functions and other data-query tools.
• Experience developing and maintaining dynamic financial models.
• Demonstrated project-management skills.
• Technical financial and managerial accounting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of general accounting practices.
• Ability to work with minimal managerial oversight and direction.
• Experience working in a shared-services organization.
• Demonstrated understanding of SAP FI/CO.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or another advanced degree.

Pay Range: $62.00- $74.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
