Job Title: Financial Analyst / Business Analyst: (Candidate should be residing in New Jersey)
Job Location: Salem, NJ 08079: (2–3 days per week onsite)
Job Duration: 30 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $42 to $50/hr. on w2
Job Description:
Position Summary:
• Perform financial analysis of SAP cost data and extract, clean, prepare, validate, and analyze data for business reporting and decision-making.
• Support monthly financial close activities, financial budgeting, and Long-Range Planning (LRP).
• Develop and maintain dynamic financial models and integrative reports using advanced Excel functions and/or data-query tools.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations while supporting multiple projects and priorities.
• Collaborate with associates and management by presenting financial information and developing creative business solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Extract, clean, integrate, summarize, validate, and analyze cost data from SAP and other systems using Excel and/or Access.
• Support monthly close activities and financial budget/LRP planning while developing and maintaining dynamic financial models for budgeting and reporting.
• Manipulate and data-mine complex financial information and translate findings into business recommendations and decision inputs.
• Design and maintain integrative financial reports using advanced Excel functions and data-query driven tools.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize activities, communicate financial information to financial and non-financial stakeholders, and support an inclusive work environment.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years of experience performing related business/financial analysis functions with minimal managerial oversight.
• Strong experience with SAP, specifically SAP FI/CO, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Strong technical financial and managerial accounting knowledge, including general accounting practices and financial systems.
• Demonstrated ability to develop financial models, analyze complex financial data, and prepare reports for budgeting and financial reporting.
• Strong business acumen, critical thinking, communication, presentation, project management, and problem-solving skills. CPA, CMA, MBA, or another advanced degree is preferred..
