Mid-Senior Full-Stack Data Engineer with a strong BI focus to join our Data and Intelligence team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in building and advancing a modern, cloud-based data platform that gives teams a trusted, unified view of business performance.

You’ll work across the full data lifecycle—from integrating and transforming source data to developing data models, analytics, and business intelligence solutions. Your work will directly support better decision-making by making critical business data more accessible, accurate, and actionable.

Must Have: Big Query, Cloud Composer.

What You’ll Do

• Architect, develop, and support scalable, secure, and reliable ELT pipelines that move data efficiently across the organization.
• Establish data validation, monitoring, and quality processes to maintain the accuracy and consistency of business-critical information.
• Analyze data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, investigate anomalies, and support forecasting initiatives.
• Leverage cloud-based machine learning capabilities, including tools such as BigQuery ML and Vertex AI, when appropriate.
• Build and enhance Tableau dashboards, reports, and other BI solutions that translate complex data into clear business insights.
• Partner with business leaders, analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical data solutions.
• Take ownership of data initiatives from initial requirements and ingestion through transformation, modeling, visualization, and ongoing optimization.
• Help improve development practices, data models, and deployment processes to increase the speed and effectiveness of the Data and Intelligence team.

What You Bring

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or another quantitative or technically relevant field.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• 5+ years of experience working extensively with relational databases and SQL.
• 3+ years of experience developing solutions on cloud-based data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Technical Expertise

• Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (GCP); AWS experience is a plus.
• Data Warehousing: BigQuery; experience with SQL Server and/or Snowflake.
• Databases: Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), MySQL.
• Programming & Analytics: Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Business Intelligence: Tableau is required; experience with Looker or Power BI is a plus.
• Data Engineering: Experience with Airflow, dbt, ELT platforms such as Fivetran, Airbyte, or Stitch, and real-time data streaming.
• Development Practices: Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and modern software development workflows.
