About the Opportunity
A leading consumer healthcare manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support a high-profile capital investment portfolio. This role will be responsible for overseeing CAPEX planning, forecasting, reporting, financial controls, and project cost management for a site with approximately $25M in annual capital expenditures.
The ideal candidate will bring strong financial analysis skills, experience supporting capital projects, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support annual CAPEX budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities for a large site portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, capital approval processes, governance requirements, and supporting documentation.
- Partner with Project Managers, Engineering teams, and Procurement to evaluate business cases and monitor project financial performance.
- Analyze budget versus actual spending, forecasts, accruals, commitments, and project performance metrics.
- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions to maintain project and budget integrity.
- Track project costs, timelines, scope changes, supplier performance, and spending trends.
- Manage purchase orders, commitments, invoices, accruals, and change control processes.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into project spending and KPIs.
- Drive reporting automation and process improvements utilizing Microsoft tools including Excel, Power Query, SharePoint, and Teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with CAPEX budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of CAPEX controls, approvals, compliance, and governance processes.
- Proven financial analysis and project cost management experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, purchase orders, accruals, commitments, and spending risk assessments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting capital projects within manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceutical, industrial, or related environments.
- Power BI dashboard and report development experience.
- Experience with Power Query, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or similar reporting and automation tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
