We are offering you the opportunity to join our Finance & Controlling department as:


INTERN FINANCE & CONTROLLING_m/f (100%)_Geneva


6-MONTH INTERNSHIP


Are you looking for a hands-on internship where you can develop your analytical skills and gain valuable experience in a dynamic business environment? Join our team and contribute to key financial and controlling activities while working alongside experienced professionals.


Main tasks:


  • Collaborate with the different departments of VisilabGroup, with a strong focus on business development and credit risk management
  • Support the tracking of daily, weekly and monthly commercial performance
  • Prepare accurate, clear and data-driven analyses to support business decisions across the full finance function, from internal audit to accounting
  • Contribute to the preparation of the monthly closing for EssilorLuxottica Group, ensuring reliable and timely reporting
  • Maintain and expand the data ecosystem for sales of Vision as a Service (subscription) to support the commercial performance
  • Monitor unpaid invoices and join in the elaboration and implementation of a risk mitigation strategy
  • Support ERP migration project for data processing tasks identifying opportunities for automation to gain efficiency
  • Use technology and digital tools to research solutions and resolve day-to-day issues independently
  • Approach tasks with curiosity, initiative and a strong willingness to learn and challenge yourself in a dynamic environment

  • Strong problem-solving attitude, with the ability to research and identify solutions independently
  • Strong curiosity and appetite for technology, with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies
  • Hands-on and resourceful approach, with the willingness to roll up their sleeves and actively contribute to day-to-day operations
  • Dynamic, pragmatic and action-oriented individual who is not afraid to take initiative, tackle challenges and find solutions independently
  • Highly committed, motivated and eager to invest themselves in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude, resilience and a genuine willingness to go the extra mile when needed
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines


Technology & Digital Skills


Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are a strict requirement for this position.


Excel will be used extensively on a daily basis for data analysis, reporting, and financial monitoring. Only candidates demonstrating a strong command of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting tools, will be considered.


Experience with Power BI, Python or Power Automate is a strong plus. Prior expertise in these tools is not mandatory, but a genuine interest in technology and a willingness to learn are essential.


The ability to independently research, learn and find practical solutions using available resources, including digital and AI tools, is highly valued.


Languages


- English: ability to sustain a professional conversation is required.

- French: good level required, with an interest in further developing your skills.

- German: basic knowledge is a plus.


Mandatory Requirements

  • Availability for a 6-month internship starting as soon as possible
