What You Will Do:
The Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and improving operational performance across manufacturing, supply chain, planning, and customer fulfillment functions. This role serves as a key business partner to operations leadership by transforming data into actionable insights, identifying process improvement opportunities, and supporting strategic initiatives that drive productivity, quality, delivery performance, and profitability.
This role combines strong analytical capabilities with a practical understanding of manufacturing operations and can effectively communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Performance Analysis
- Analyze manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, planning, and customer service performance data
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting
- Monitor trends and identify root causes of performance gaps
- Support operational reviews by providing data-driven recommendations
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support leadership decision-making
Manufacturing & Supply Chain Support
- Analyze production throughput, labor utilization, capacity, and schedule attainment
- Evaluate inventory performance, material availability, and inventory turns
- Identify bottlenecks and constraints impacting production flow
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and capacity planning activities
- Monitor supplier performance and material flow metrics
Data Management & Reporting
- Extract, validate, and analyze data from ERP, MES, WMS, CRM, and other business systems
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms
- Build automated reporting solutions and business intelligence tools
- Create executive-level presentations and business cases
Project Support
- Support strategic initiatives including automation, digital transformation, ERP enhancements, and operational improvement projects
- Track project performance against objectives, timelines, and expected benefits
- Assist with implementation planning and post-implementation measurement
Background Required:
Education
Bachelor's degree in:
- Operations Management
- Supply Chain Management
- Industrial Engineering
- Business Analytics
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Finance
- Related field
Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations analysis, industrial engineering, or business analytics
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment required
- Experience in a high-mix, low-volume environment preferred
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems such as:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- SAP
- Oracle NetSuite
- Infor LN
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as:
- Microsoft Power BI
- Tableau
- Knowledge of SQL and database reporting tools preferred
- Strong data visualization and reporting skill.

Miscellaneous:
- Compensation: $110-130K
- Full benefit package including medical, dental and 401(k), PTO
