The Opportunity

Are you passionate about combining finance expertise with digital innovation to drive business value? We are looking for a proactive, technology-savvy Business Analyst to support the Global Capability Owner (GCO) of Function & Legal Entity Controlling within a globally distributed finance organization.

In this role, you will contribute to the operational excellence and governance of a complex controlling environment that delivers planning, reporting, and closing services across multiple regions. You will serve as a key business partner, supporting leadership teams through structured planning, coordination, and execution of strategic initiatives while ensuring effective collaboration across global stakeholders.

You will play an important role in advancing the finance transformation agenda through automation, analytics, and process optimization. By leveraging digital tools and technologies, you will help improve reporting capabilities, increase process efficiency, and enhance decision-making across the organization. Your ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions will support the standardization and continuous improvement of finance processes on a global scale.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Act as a trusted business partner to global and regional finance stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making through financial and operational analysis.
  • Analyze business performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Develop and maintain management dashboards, analytics solutions, and reporting tools to improve visibility and transparency of key business metrics.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reviews, and month-end closing activities across the Function & Legal Entity Controlling organization.
  • Drive automation and digitalization initiatives using technologies such as Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, SAP, and Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and gather business requirements, translating them into scalable digital and process improvement solutions.
  • Contribute to global process harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives within finance operations.
  • Support governance, compliance, and internal control requirements while ensuring high-quality data and reporting standards.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, leadership communications, and decision-support materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the FLE service catalogue to enhance transparency, consistency, and service delivery excellence.

Your Background

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, Accounting, Business Analytics, or Finance Transformation roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, month-end close, and controlling processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SAP, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Proven experience in process improvement, standardization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into meaningful business insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in global and matrix-based organizations.
  • Self-motivated, customer-focused, and adaptable professional with a continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional accounting qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting finance transformation, analytics, AI-driven solutions, or enterprise digitalization initiatives.
