I'm partnering with a fantastic accounting leadership team at Tempur Sealy to fill a newly created Senior Accountant position!

You'll support multiple accounting leaders and work across several areas of the business, providing exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities rather than being siloed into a single function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and the opportunity to continuously learn and grow.

Key responsibilities include:

✅ Month-End Close

✅ General Ledger Accounting

✅ Journal Entries & Reconciliations

✅ Accruals & Prepaids

✅ Financial Reporting

✅ Sales Accounting

✅ Fixed Assets

✅ P&L Analysis

✅ Process Improvement Initiatives

✅ Cross-Functional Business Support

We're looking for a strong accounting professional who can quickly learn new processes, adapt to changing business needs, and step in wherever support is needed. This person will have the opportunity to work alongside multiple accounting leaders while building a broad accounting skillset and positioning themselves for future leadership opportunities.

What we're looking for:

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required)

✔ 3+ years of accounting experience

✔ Strong GL accounting knowledge

✔ Month-end close experience

✔ Journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and prepaid accounting experience

✔ Strong Excel skills

✔ Excellent communication skills

✔ CPA preferred
