Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake Technology - Kuala Lumpur

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to lead projects, mentor our teams and shape the future of data and analytics.

In this role, you will lead Snowflake initiatives, develop our Snowflake assets and lead the team in delivering high-quality cloud data solutions. You will also collaborate closely with sales, marketing, technology partners and clients to strengthen our position as a Snowflake solutions leader.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership Serve as the Snowflake subject matter expert by providing guidance on design patterns, delivery methodologies and best practices to ensure high-quality implementation
• Project Delivery Lead Snowflake data platform projects, ensuring delivery excellence, adherence to best practices and high-level client satisfaction
• Client Engagement Support pre-sales activities, solution design and client presentations while identifying opportunities to expand services across new and existing accounts
• Knowledge Development Develop and maintain training and certification plans for consultants, promoting skills growth and technical expertise within the team
• Thought Leadership Lead webinars, executive roundtables and conferences while collaborating with technology partners to shape Snowflake strategy

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience delivering Snowflake-based data platform solutions including experience leading project teams and managing stakeholder expectations
• Strong technical expertise in Snowflake, SQL and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including tools like dbt, Coalesce and Fivetran
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern data delivery approaches to ensure efficient, high-quality project execution
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with experience in pre-sales support and solution design
• Ability to coach and mentor team members, fostering technical excellence and building high-performing delivery teams
