Position: Data Engineer Middle/Senior [Up to 75M]

Location: Hồ Chí Minh & Hà Nội

Job description AWS:

• Design and build scalable data platforms on AWS following Data Mesh principles • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for distributed data domains
• Collaborate with domain teams to define data products and ensure data ownership • Design and optimize data models for analytics and operational use cases
• Implement data governance, quality, and security standards across domains • Optimize performance and scalability of data pipelines and storage systems • Support API/data access for downstream consumers (BI, applications)
• Document data products, pipelines, and architecture

Job Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platform
• Strong experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena) • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT and data pipeline development • Solid SQL and data modeling skills (relational/dimensional)
• Understanding or experience with Data Mesh / Data Product mindset • Experience working with large-scale or distributed data systems
• Familiar with data governance, data quality, and security practices
• Good English communication (working with global teams)
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with streaming (Kafka, Kinesis)
• Experience with multi-cloud (Azure, GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD and data platform automation

Job description GCP:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and support ETL/ELT workflows using Cloud Composer (Managed Apache Airflow).
• Write and maintain SQL queries in BigQuery for reporting, analytics, and data processing.
• Develop and manage Airflow DAGs, including scheduling, dependency management, rerun, and backfill processes.
• Develop Python scripts and utilities for data processing and workflow automation.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business teams to support analytics and AI-related projects.
• Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance and reliability.
• Apply query optimization techniques to improve BigQuery performance and reduce data scan costs.
• Manage source code using GitHub and follow development best practices.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across data platforms. across teams

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related fields.
• Around 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or related positions.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially BigQuery and Cloud Composer.
• Good experience working with Apache Airflow, including DAG design, scheduling, dependency management, rerun, and backfill.
• Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries using CTEs, window functions, and nested queries.
• Experience optimizing SQL queries for BigQuery performance is a plus.
• Proficient in Python for Airflow DAG development, automation, and data processing.
• Experience using GitHub or other Git-based source control systems.
• Familiar with ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working on AI/Analytics projects is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• English communication skills are preferred.
