Our client is an organization in the Winnebago County area that’s looking for an Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and who has excellent interpersonal skills. This company offers professional growth & development opportunities, a variety of responsibilities, and a collaborative team. This position is onsite.

The salary for this position is $75k - $90k.

The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes and track actual results against plan.
• Support variance analysis and provide explanations for differences between actual and expected results.
• Analyze production costs, material costs, and other financial metrics to identify variances and potential cost savings.
• Present financial findings and recommendations to the CFO and senior leadership.
• Partner with production, operations, and sales teams to align financial data with business activity and support decision making.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business needs.

The Accountant will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field required.
• 3+ years of related accounting experience.
• Experience with SAGE & Insight, ERP systems, and data & reporting tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Travel up to 25% or more as required based on business needs.
