Your Tasks
- Customize and maintain our established database solutions (including SAP BW and SQL) in close cooperation with our internal IT teams
- Develop and refine our reporting solutions to meet changing business needs
- Manage and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability
- Design and implement new methods and tools to streamline existing and future financial processes
- Prepare detailed dashboards, reports, data views and analyses for various reporting purposes
- Future- proof our analytical toolbox (including R, Python and VBA) by proactively identifying improvement opportunities and anticipating business needs
- Collaborate cross- functionally with other departments within VIG (Group) to align processes and ensure optimal data utility

- Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR EUR 3 353,17 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37.5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
- This full-time position is to be filled as soon as possible.
Your Profile
- A university degree in data science, economics, finance, mathematics or a related field
- First experience in working with different data models and data migration
- Proficiency in analytical software such as Excel, R, Power BI or similar tools
- Experience with data warehouse solutions (SAP, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.) is a plus but not a strict requirement
- Some experience with programming (VBA, Powershell, Python, etc.) is beneficial, as you will be expected to engage in minor programming tasks on a regular basis
- An analytical mindset coupled with a problem- solving orientation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Very good English language skills, both spoken and written. German is a plus.
