Data Architect at BairesDev

In this role, you'll investigate business needs directly with stakeholders to design, model, and define data strategy using a Medallion Architecture. Designing the governed data architecture, canonical taxonomy, and transformation logic for the data warehouse, you'll ensure downstream consumers can work with reliable, well-structured data assets. This is your opportunity to shape how data is modeled and governed from the ground up, turning unstructured, messy data into a trustworthy foundation for the entire organization.

What You'll Do

• Design and define data strategy using Medallion Architecture in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Model data from unstructured sources into clean, usable structures.
• Design the governed data architecture and canonical taxonomy for the data warehouse.
• Define transformation logic ensuring downstream consumers can rely on data assets.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Data Services.
• Proven experience with data modeling from unstructured data.
• Deep knowledge of Medallion Architecture.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with taxonomy creation.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience with schema architecture and relational/dimensional modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice To Have

• Real estate domain knowledge.
• Experience with LLM-assisted categorization.
