LOOKER BI SPECIALIST

LOOKER BI SPECIALIST – REMOTE

Location: Remote

Schedule: Full time (Eastern Time -ET- Florida -Colombia Time Zone).

We are looking for a Looker BI Specialist to support and maintain the company's BI environment, with a strong focus on Looker, LookML, dashboards, and SQL for joinning a Startup company which develops tech services for commercial real estate industry.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LookML models, Explores, and dashboards based on business needs.
• Build and update reports using BigQuery data.
• Troubleshoot Looker and reporting issues.
• Optimize dashboards and queries for performance.
• Support Looker permissions, user access, and basic governance.
• Maintain documentation and reporting related to BI activities.
• Recommend improvements to existing dashboards and reporting processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Looker and LookML.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with data modeling.
• Experience with BigQuery or another cloud data warehouse.
• Knowledge of Looker permissions and access controls.
• Ideally familiar with either Power BI, Tableau, or another BI platform(nce to have this is a plus.)
• Good English communication skills. (spoken and written at least B2 level)
• Ability to work remotely during Eastern Time (ET Florida- Colombia Time Zone) business hours.

Important : Hands-on Looker/LookML (modeling) experience is required. Experience primarily with Looker Studio does not meet the requirements for this position.
