About The Role

We are looking for a Python Developer to enhance and optimize enterprise applications. The role focuses on Python development, SQL optimization, backend services, APIs, debugging, and application performance. The candidate will work with existing codebases to implement enhancements and deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.

Job Description

The role involves developing new features, improving existing application functionality, and optimizing backend processing and database operations. The developer will work extensively with Python and SQL to build and maintain backend services and database integrations.

The position also requires strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and follow engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement application features based on business and technical requirements.
• Enhance existing codebases to improve scalability, maintainability, and quality.
• Optimize application, backend, and database performance.
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and database integrations.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, and indexing.
• Troubleshoot defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering standards.
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvements.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Python development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, joins, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience developing and maintaining APIs and backend systems.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience working with existing applications and implementing enhancements.
• Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred / Good To Have

• Exposure to React JS.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
• Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI integrations.
