About the Role


As part of the Corporate Strategy Office, this role supports financial analysis, reporting, and performance tracking across the organization, with a strong focus on group-level operations. The position provides direct exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making, while contributing to company-wide and cross-functional initiatives in Europe and North America. Day-to-day work is guided by a Senior Project Manager.



Responsibilities


  • Support group-level financial controls, risk assessment, and internal audit activities across business functions
  • Plan and execute process reviews and control walkthroughs; identify control gaps and recommend remediation
  • Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits, preparing documentation and closing open items
  • Assess financial and operational processes against internal control frameworks and group policy
  • Track remediation of audit findings, ensuring accountability and follow-through across functions
  • Support group-level P&L, cashflow, and FP&A reviews from a controls and compliance perspective
  • Monitor financial and business performance, identify risks, and propose improvement actions
  • Drive standardization, documentation, and process improvement across controlling and reporting workflows
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, leadership, and external auditors/advisors
  • Prepare clear audit reports, findings summaries, and materials for senior management and ownership
  • Ensure structured documentation, approval, and review processes for all control and audit activities
  • Document and share clear meeting summaries with actionable next steps



Requirements


  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in internal or external audit, financial controls, or business controlling in a multinational environment (Big4 experience is a plus)



Essential Skills


  • Strong accounting foundation with an audit and controls mindset: comfortable testing, questioning, and documenting
  • Basic understanding of holding structures and group-level financial processes, or strong willingness to learn
  • Experience with control frameworks, risk assessment, or audit methodology
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; comfortable working to audit deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to write clear, defensible findings
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian
  • Proactive, flexible, and pragmatic with a hands-on mindset
  • Strong relationship-building skills across teams and functions, including with external auditors



Desirable Skills


  • Experience using AI tools as part of daily work
  • Interest in financial process optimization and automation
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders in a structured environment
  • Knowledge of IFRS
