The Company

This newly created role for a small but international software company is a real game changer for the industry, providing real savings and efficiencies for its customers.

The Role
Reporting to the Divisional MD, this is a high profile, but hands-on role with genuine leadership potential as the company continues to grow.
You will join the SLT to own all financial operations, compliance, and strategic planning for this business unit. You will seamlessly bridge the gap between high-level commercial business partnering and day-to-day financial management to fast-track business growth. Specifically, you will:

• Drive Strategy: Partner with the SLT to deliver commercial insights, optimize project finances, and unlock profitability.
• Run Operations: Manage cash flow, AP/AR, payroll governance, and multiple international P&Ls (AU & UK).
• Own the Numbers: Lead swift month-, quarter-, and year-end closes, budgeting, and forecasting under strict IFRS guidelines.
• Secure Governance: Manage internal/external audits and tighten financial controls.

The Candidate Ideally you will be a qualified accountant ( CA/CPA) with several years in industry and used to a fast moving, varied role offering both technical challenges and commercial acumen. Good understanding of IFRS knowledge, with advanced Excel skills, and sharp analytical thinking.
