Python Developer / Data Engineer - GCP (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Mid-Senior Python Developer / Data Engineer (min. 5 years of experience) to join our team for Natixis projects in Portugal. You will be working on building enterprise-level data and backend solutions within a modern tech environment.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Min. 5 years of experience in Python development
• Hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills
• Solid experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
• Version control experience (Git, CI/CD pipelines)
• Containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Fluency in English (written & spoken), French is a plus
• Location: Porto / Lisbon (Hybrid model)

• Salary package with target baseline ~€2,200 – €2,300 net/month

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Python development and Data Engineering.
• Cloud & Tools: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Data & Databases: Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, ETL pipeline design, and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Engineering Practices: Solid background in Git versioning, CI/CD pipelines, and software engineering best practices.
• Languages: Fluent in English (professional proficiency).
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset, team player, and good communication skills suited for a hybrid multi-cultural setup.
