Senior Data Engineer (Databricks | DBT | Snowflake)


📍 Location: Seattle, WA (500 5th Ave N)


About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Seattle. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize modern data pipelines that power analytics, AI, and machine learning initiatives across the organization. You'll work with enterprise business systems, cloud data platforms, and cross-functional teams to deliver trusted, high-quality datasets.

Key Responsibilities -


  • Build, ingest, and process data from enterprise applications including:
  • Salesforce (Investments)
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Coupa (Finance)
  • Workday (HR)
  • Concur (Operations)
  • External program and partner data sources (e.g., Health and Education)
  • Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, DBT, and Snowflake.
  • Design clean, reusable, and well-documented data models to support AI and machine learning training and inference.
  • Implement data quality tests, documentation, and lineage using DBT.
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency while ensuring compliance with governance standards.
  • Partner with the Knowledge Management, AI, and Data Science teams to deliver feature-ready datasets for advanced analytics and AI initiatives.


Required Qualifications


  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Unity Catalog)
  • DBT (models, tests, documentation)
  • Snowflake (SQL, query optimization, performance tuning)
  • Strong experience designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Experience integrating data from enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Coupa, Workday, and Concur.
  • Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
  • Experience implementing data quality frameworks and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting AI/ML data pipelines and feature engineering.
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
  • Experience working in a cloud-based modern data platform.
