Financial Accountant / Treasury Accountant

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Financial Accountant to join a high-performing finance team in Geelong.

Reporting across both financial accounting and treasury functions, you will be responsible for supporting month-end reporting, maintaining the integrity of financial information, assisting with treasury operations and contributing to a range of business improvement initiatives.

This is a broad role offering exposure across financial reporting, compliance, cashflow management, audit support, inventory accounting and sustainability reporting. You'll also play a key role in ongoing process improvement projects and work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure the smooth operation of critical finance functions.

About The Candidate

To be successful, you will be CA or CPA qualified (or working towards completion) and bring previous experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role. You'll have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Exposure to treasury activities, cashflow forecasting, ERP systems and financial reporting requirements will be highly regarded. Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and is keen to contribute beyond the traditional accounting function.
