Job Description
- Managing month-end reporting, including journals, reconciliations, analysis, and financial commentary.
- Preparing and presenting contract performance results against budget and forecast.
- Taking ownership of revenue and cost reporting, ensuring accurate financial allocation within SAP.
- Producing monthly, quarterly, and lifecycle invoicing in line with contractual requirements.
- Leading forecasting and annual budgeting processes across assigned contracts.
- Maintaining whole-of-life financial models and monitoring forecast margin performance.
- Delivering insightful financial and operational analysis to support business decision-making.
- Partnering closely with operational leaders to drive commercial outcomes and improve contract performance.
- Monitoring contractual risks, opportunities, penalties, retentions, and incentives.
- Supporting business improvement initiatives, governance activities, and contract mobilisation projects.
- Providing commercial and financial guidance to operational stakeholders across the business.
- Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or Financial Accountant within a business partnering environment.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, P&L and working capital experience.
- Intermediate Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with a passion for continuous improvement and business partnering.
