About the Company Our client is a large, NZ-based business with a complex operational footprint. The finance function partners closely with senior leadership to turn data into decisions across a significant part of the business.

In this role you will own budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and financial insight for a core division. This is a senior FP&A role turning financial and operational data into clear, decision-useful insight for senior finance and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budget, forecast and restatement processes for the division
• Own financial analysis, performance diagnostics and scenario modelling
• Deliver high-quality performance reporting and commentary
• Monitor performance against targets, flagging risks and opportunities early
• Maintain strong controls, governance and data integrity across FP&A
• Partner with embedded finance and shared service teams to lift reporting quality

Key Skills & Experience Required

• CA/CPA qualified (non-negotiable)
• Proven FP&A, performance management or commercial finance experience (non-negotiable)
• Strong communicator, confident building relationships across finance and the business
• Strong PowerPoint and storytelling skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership
• Big 4 background regarded but not essential
• Experience working with shared service or outsourced-partner finance models advantageous
