QA / Test Engineer – HIL & Test Automation

🚀 QA / Test Engineer – HIL & Test Automation | Besançon, France | Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced QA / Test Engineer to join an international project working on complex technical systems, with a strong focus on test automation and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute automated tests for complex systems
• Work hands-on with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test environments
• Analyse logs, traces and test results to identify and troubleshoot issues
• Use SQL for data validation and investigation
• Develop and maintain automated testing pipelines
• Work closely with developers and engineering teams to improve software quality
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks

✅ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a QA / Test Engineer
• Experience testing complex systems, rather than purely UI-based applications
• Strong hands-on test automation experience
• Experience with log and trace analysis
• Good working knowledge of SQL
• Hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments
• Experience with CI tooling and automated testing pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent French – MANDATORY
• Fluent English – MANDATORY

📍 Location & Working Model

🇫🇷 Besançon, France

• Hybrid working model – 3 days per week onsite
• 2 days per week remote
• Candidates must be based in France and able to work from the Besançon site 3 days per week
