The SDR is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers within the single-family and multifamily housing industries. This role serves as the first point of contact for many prospects and plays a critical role in generating qualified sales opportunities for the Mid-Market and Enterprise Sales teams.

Duties And Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Research and identify prospective customers through outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, referrals, and marketing-generated leads.
- Execute outbound prospecting through phone calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other sales engagement tools.
- Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for the Sales team.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective accounts.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospect needs, challenges, timelines, and buying processes.
- Qualify leads using established sales qualification criteria.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Executive or Mid-Market Sales Representative.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect and activity records within HubSpot CRM.
- Document prospect interactions, meeting notes, and follow-up activities.
- Participate in pipeline meetings and provide updates on prospecting activities and pipeline health.
- Develop a strong understanding of the PetScreening platform, products, and value proposition.
- Stay informed on industry trends, legislation, competitors, and market developments.
- Effectively communicate PetScreening's solutions and business value to prospective customers.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Participate in sales training, coaching sessions, and role-playing exercises.
- Attend conferences, trade shows, and industry events as assigned.
- Meet or exceed monthly activity metrics, including outbound calls, emails, meetings scheduled, and qualified opportunities created.
- Achieve assigned pipeline generation goals.
- Actively participate in team meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned by manager or designee.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of sales, customer service, business development, or inside sales experience preferred.
- Experience with HubSpot or comparable CRM platform preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional time management skills.
