Key Responsibilities
- Operational Support
- Provide front-line IT support for all technology, including PCs, handheld scanners, printers, thin clients, kiosks, VoIP phones, warehouse management system devices, and warehouse IoT devices.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues promptly.
- Execute daily operational checks to ensure devices, networks, and automation systems are functioning correctly.
- Support user account requests, including onboarding/offboarding, access changes, and workstation deployments.
- Perform device imaging, patching, firmware updates, and lifecycle management to maintain optimal performance.
- Project & Deployment Support
- Support enterprise initiatives, including warehouse management system rollouts, advanced security initiatives, operating system upgrades, and network modernization projects.
- Provide device lifecycle support for Desktops, Laptops, Handheld Scanners, and Mobile Printers.
- Participate in go-live activities, cutovers, weekend maintenance windows, and after-hours support as needed to ensure successful project implementation.
- Conduct validation testing and provide valuable feedback to project teams.
- Execute device and infrastructure readiness tasks for new facility expansions.
- Site Documentation & Standards
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with all security policies.
- Keep process documentation, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides up to date.
- Contribute to the standardization of configurations, device setup, and IT workflows across all operational sites.
- Collaboration & Customer Service
- Partner with site leadership, supervisors, and operators to understand and address issues impacting throughput or quality.
- Escalate high-impact issues to central teams (IT, Network, Cybersecurity, Warehouse Management, etc.) as necessary.
- Demonstrate strong communication and customer-service skills, aligning with our core behaviors of teamwork, accountability, and innovation.
- A college diploma or university degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of IT experience supporting end-user devices in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with basic network concepts.
- Ability to work on rotating shifts, Weekends and Holidays when required.
- Demonstrates excellent analytical thinking, effective communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on IT support experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, and peripherals.
- Strong Windows support skills, including remote assistance and desktop management.
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN, wireless and TCP/IP protocols.
- Familiarity with IT security tools and practices.
- Ability to support Android, Apple and Windows devices in enterprise environments.
- The ability to work effectively with and as part of a team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and shared success.
