Brand Engagement & Events Manager
Full-time, perm
Hybrid, 2 days/week in office
Location: Queens Quay
Salary: $80-85,000

Our client is looking for a Brand Engagement and Events Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. This person will lead the planning and execution of corporate events, brand activations, media engagements and leisure sales initiatives. This role works across marketing, destination development and sales teams to deliver events that strengthen the destination brand and support industry engagement. Strong project management, vendor coordination and operational execution are essential.

Core Role & Responsibilities:

  • Event planning and delivery across corporate events, brand activations, media engagements and leisure sales initiatives in key markets.
  • Event design support to ensure alignment with brand narrative, standards and organizational priorities.
  • Logistics coordination including venue sourcing, vendor management, catering, guest management, run of show development and on site execution.
  • Production oversight for brand activations and experiential initiatives with external vendors and agencies.
  • Volunteer coordination to support event staffing needs.
  • Project planning including timelines, documentation and workflow tracking.
  • Concurrent event management ensuring timelines, deliverables and operational requirements are met.
  • Budget management including procurement, RFP processes, vendor sourcing and contract coordination
  • Guest registration and attendee list management with accurate data capture.
  • Post event reporting including insights and recommendations.
  • Cross functional collaboration with marketing, sales and destination development teams.
  • Vendor and partner relationship management to ensure seamless execution.
  • Industry trend monitoring to support innovative experiential initiatives.
  • Travel across Europe, Canada and US is required for this role.

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in event planning experience in experiential marketing, corporate events, or brand activations.
  • Project management and organizational strength across multiple initiatives.
  • End-to-end event management for complex initiatives.
  • Complex logistics coordination including vendor and on site management.
  • Collaboration and interpersonal skills for cross functional teamwork.
  • Vendor and agency management to ensure successful execution.
  • Communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Solutions oriented mindset with adaptability in fast paced environments.
  • Attention to detail and strong operational execution.
  • Experiential marketing knowledge and familiarity with event production.
  • CRM and guest management familiarity.
  • Awareness of emerging trends in events and experiential marketing.
