What You'll Do
- Design maintainable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, data, contract, performance, and other appropriate test layers.
- Develop automated tests with clear assertions, reusable components, controlled data, and actionable failure diagnostics.
- Integrate automated suites into CI/CD with effective triggers, parallelization, reporting, retry controls, and quality gates.
- Investigate failures, distinguish product defects from test or environment issues, and drive root-cause correction.
- Partner with developers, analysts, UX, security, and DevOps to improve testability and acceptance criteria early.
- Review automation code, mentor contributors, and establish coding, data, environment, and evidence standards.
- Join an established small business with more than 20 years of experience supporting customers and solving complex technology and mission needs.
- Work remotely within the United States while contributing to meaningful customer outcomes.
- Take ownership of complex work and collaborate directly with experienced technical and program professionals.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent directly relevant experience.
- Five or more years of software quality engineering or test automation experience.
- Strong programming or scripting capability and hands-on experience building maintainable UI, API, integration, or data-test automation.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD and diagnosing failures across application, test, data, and environment boundaries.
- Experience supporting federal, defense, regulated, or mission-critical software.
- Experience with accessibility, performance, security, mobile, contract, or cloud-native testing.
- ISTQB, cloud, security, Agile, or other relevant certification.
