Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Java and web automation technologies.
2. Design and execute functional, regression, and API test cases to validate application quality.
3. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and maintain automation code using version control.
4. Identify and document defects, troubleshoot test failures, and collaborate with development teams on resolution.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

Experience in test automation development using Java, Selenium, API testing, CI/CD, and automated test framework development.

Technical Skills

Java, Selenium WebDriver, Test Automation Frameworks, API Testing, REST APIs, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git

Business / Domain Skills

Quality Assurance, Test Automation, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, API Validation, Defect Management

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with API automation frameworks such as REST Assured or similar technologies.
2. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern automation practices.
3. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
