HR Business Partner - Talent Strategy Focus

Location: De Pere, WI (Hybrid)

Compensation: $75,000–$95,000

Type: Full-time; permanent


About the Opportunity

A well-established and growing manufacturing organization is seeking a HR Business Partner focused on talent strategy to join its HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key talent initiatives while serving as the primary HR partner for a local manufacturing facility.


This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys a talent-focused position with broad HR exposure and is comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on day-to-day responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead recruiting efforts for salaried and professional positions.
  • Manage recruiting processes from sourcing through offer and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to identify and attract top talent.
  • Enhance candidate experience and employer branding.
  • Track recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring effectiveness.

Talent Management & Development

  • Own and coordinate the annual performance management process.
  • Support talent reviews and succession planning initiatives.
  • Maintain career paths and competency frameworks.
  • Partner with leaders on employee development planning.
  • Support internal mobility, promotions, and advancement processes.
  • Maintain accurate job descriptions and position documentation.
  • Help identify and develop future leadership talent.

HR Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for the local manufacturing facility.
  • Partner with leadership on employee relations and workplace concerns.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees.
  • Support performance management and employee development.
  • Assist with workforce planning and organizational needs.
  • Support leave administration and other general HR processes.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Partner with the broader HR team across multiple locations.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and company events.
  • Support HR projects and process improvements.
  • Handle administrative HR responsibilities as needed.


What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong emphasis on Talent Acquisition and/or Talent Management.
  • Experience with recruiting professional/salaried-level positions.
  • Experience with employee relations and performance management.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and serve as a trusted HR partner to site leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is a plus.
