  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of IT experience with at least 2–3 years in production support leadership or senior L1 role.
  • Proven experience in incident management and defect handling in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Experience working in 24x7 support environments or shift-based operations is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience in financial services, banking, or large enterprise environments is an advantage.
  • Monitoring & Support Tools: Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Nagios, or similar); Ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Remedy)
  • System & Application Knowledge: Understanding of web applications, APIs, middleware, and batch processing; Familiarity with enterprise systems and transaction-based applications
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Log analysis and troubleshooting skills; Basic SQL for data validation and investigation; Knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows environments
  • Incident & Release Management: Experience supporting application releases and production deployments; Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools is an advantage
  • Automation & Scripting (Optional): Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Shell, Python, PowerShell) is a plus
  • Documentation & Collaboration: Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Confluence, SharePoint, or similar knowledge base tools
  • Nice-to-Have Skills: ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent; Experience in automation of support processes (runbook automation, alert automation); Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS); Knowledge of cybersecurity incident handling basics
