Dunhill Government Solutions is hiring 12 IT support professionals for a federal technology program in San Antonio, Texas. This is a fully onsite role, day shift, supporting production and development systems for a large enterprise environment.
As part of our Cyber Defense and Managed Security Services team, you’ll analyze security alerts, triage incidents, and ensure organizations maintain a strong security posture in an increasingly complex digital environment.
This role offers an excellent entry point into cybersecurity, where high performers often grow into advanced analyst or security engineering roles within 12-18 months.

What You’ll Do
As a valued member of the SOC team, you will:
• Monitor and analyze security alerts generated by SIEM and endpoint security tools
• Perform initial triage and investigation of security incidents
• Document findings and update incident tickets within the SOC ticketing system
• Escalate confirmed or complex incidents to senior analysts following SOC playbooks
• Identify potential phishing attempts, malware activity, and suspicious network behavior
• Follow defined SOC procedures, security playbooks, and escalation protocols
• Collaborate with SOC team members to maintain operational visibility and incident response readiness
• Continuously learn emerging cybersecurity threats and defense techniques
Basic Qualifications
• 6 months - 1 year of experience in Cyber Security, SOC operations, IT Support, or IT Helpdesk
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a 24×7 SOC environment, including evenings or weekends if required
Candidates must be US citizens and be eligible to obtain a DoD secret security clearance in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
• Entry-level cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CC, SC-900, or Cisco CyberOps Associate
• Exposure to SIEM or security monitoring tools
• Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
• Understanding of phishing, malware, authentication, and common cyber threats
• Post-secondary education in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Computer Science
