Pay Rate: $41.00/hr On W2 | $45.00/hr On C2C

Role Summary

Seeking a Technical Test Lead / Selenium Java Automation Tester with 8–10 years of quality engineering experience for a 12-month contract in Raleigh, NC (Hybrid work setup, with face-to-face interview required).

The candidate will lead automated test execution, framework design, script debugging, and regression testing within Agile/Scrum delivery models.

Hands-on expertise in Selenium and Java is mandatory, along with strong functional QA practices, defect lifecycle management, and client-facing communication.

Banking domain experience and secondary skills in API testing and SQL are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

* Automation Framework & Scripting: Design, execute, and maintain Selenium Java test automation scripts; debug script failures, perform root cause analysis, and execute automated regression suites.

* Agile QA Delivery: Work independently within Scrum teams to drive functional testing processes, defect lifecycle management, and maintain high-quality release standards within strict project timelines.

* Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key QA liaison, effectively collaborating with client stakeholders, development teams, and cross-functional partners.

* Domain & Technical Verification: Leverage secondary skills in API testing and SQL queries for backend data validation, preferably supporting enterprise Banking domain initiatives.

Required Skills

* Core Experience: 5–10 years of dedicated QA engineering and automated test execution experience.

* Automation Stack: Strong hands-on expertise with Selenium and Java automation scripting.

* Methodologies & Processes: Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks, functional testing methodologies, and end-to-end defect management.

* Nice to Have: Background in API Testing, SQL query building, and prior Banking domain project execution.

* Work Setup & Interview: Commitment to a Hybrid work setup in Raleigh, NC 27601 and willingness to attend a Face-to-Face interview.
