Job Title: Principal Quality Engineering Lead

Location: Blue Ash, OH (Onsite)

Job Duration: 12+ months

Pay Rate: $75/hr on W2

We’re seeking a Principal Quality Engineering Lead (Senior Individual Contributor) to drive end-to-end quality engineering for a Next Generation Point of Sale (NGPOS) platform..

1. Technical Quality Engineering Leadership - Strong background in modern QE, automation, CI/CD, release quality, and the SDLC, with enough technical depth to review code, frameworks, and architecture.
2. Cross-Functional Influence & Problem Solving - Able to work across multiple teams, solve ambiguous problems, identify root causes, and drive change without having direct authority.
3. AI Fluency in Engineering - Comfortable using AI to evaluate ideas, solve technical problems, improve testing and engineering practices, and work effectively across different technology stacks.

What you’ll do:

• Lead complex, cross-team quality engineering initiatives and translate business goals into executable roadmaps.
• Define and drive test strategy, automation standards, and release quality practices.
• Review designs, automation frameworks, and code; influence architecture through a reliability lens.
• Identify and implement AI-enabled improvements across the SDLC.
• Mentor senior engineers and elevate QE practices organization-wide.

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years in software/quality/platform engineering.
• Strong automation, CI/CD, and test architecture background.
• Experience with React and Java/Spring microservices (preferred).
• Familiarity with MQTT, Azure, synthetic monitoring, and modern quality gates.
• Demonstrated experience applying AI in engineering contexts.
• Strong cross-functional influence and problem-solving skills.
