Title: Senior Technical Project Manager
Duration: 12 months (4 days onsite)

Description
As a Senior Technical Project Manager you will identify, plan and coordinate a set of related projects within a program and manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies. You will also apply project management principles and techniques to lead project schedule, scope, quality, cost and performance risks.
The Senior Technical Project Manager will work closely with cross-discipline technology teams, leadership and business partners to understand technical and business direction, milestones and budget, as well as provide thought leadership to project management team.
Responsibilities
- Drives execution and delivery of technical projects through full delivery life cycle ensuring project is delivered timely and on-budget.
- Work with engineering teams, including Software Engineers, Product Managers, Architects, and leadership to establish processes across all program areas that will ensure success on strategically prioritized projects and improve efficiency.
- Defines, optimizes, and manages Agile project management ceremonies and processes for large project teams.
- Manage hardware/software procurement of assigned projects.
- Develop program plans comprised of parallel projects and multiple project managers that collectively produce work that has significant business impact.
- Monitor and adjust program plan to respond to unplanned changes, ensuring program is progressing to meet business goals.
- Create governance practices and provides senior-level leadership oversight and control for the program.
- Implement fiscal practices and controls, authorizing, recording, and reporting on program expenditures and ROI.
- Develop infrastructure needed to support the program.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of technical project/program management experience working with technical teams developing enterprise class solutions.
- Understanding of Cloud, APIs, services, database technologies, technologist roles and responsibilities, capabilities and platform dependencies, software development lifecycle, engineering and/or product development.
- Influence and negotiation, communication, professional maturity & organizational savvy, relationship building, dependency mapping.
- Hands-on experience with practices such as Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall as well as extensive experience with pragmatic blending of styles to facilitate collaboration and delivery.
- Deep understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD)
- Significant experience in coaching and mentoring teams on project management practices including Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall.
- Excellent ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of a project.
- Experience managing large project budgets.
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Suite, Keynote, Smartsheet, MyPPM (Clarity), MyJira, Tableau, and Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience in supporting large-scale, global software development programs
- Agile certifications (i.e. CSM, ACP, CPO, SAFe, LeSS)
Education
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience (17+ years)
The estimated pay range for this position is USD $80.00/hr - USD $84.50/hr.
