Job Purpose:

The CMS Processing Manager is responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of payment processing platforms, including acquiring, switching, and transaction processing systems. The role oversees day-to-day operational support, incident management, and continuous service improvement to meet business and regulatory requirements.


Principal Responsibilities:

· Manage 24x7 L1 and L2 support for card systems

· Ensure stability across transaction channels

· Monitor transaction flows, settlement, reconciliation and statements

· Drive incident management, RCA and problem resolution Coordinate with Visa, Mastercard and vendors.

· Manage and track SLAs / KPIs (availability, response time, throughput)

· Ensure systems meet high availability targets (e.g., 99.9%+)

· Identify bottlenecks and drive capacity optimization

· Ensure minimal risk deployments for critical payment systems

· Support release planning and regression validation

· Act as the primary point of contact for business, operations, and external partners

· Provide regular service status reporting

· Lead resolution of critical incidents (P1/P2) impacting transaction processing

· Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure permanent fixes

· Manage releases, certifications and deployments, review change

· Ensure PCI DSS and audit compliance


Risk, Compliance & Business Continuity:

Ensure compliance with AFS risk policies, PCI DSS, and regulatory requirements. Escalate issues timely and support BCP testing and readiness.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge: Card Domain, CMS, settlement, switching, VAS Services

Experience: 10-15 years in payments, 3+ years in leadership roles, prior processor exposure, team leading exposure, migration experience

Technical: Switching, ISO8583, API, Card Issuance, Tokenization, ECOM, Micro-services, Cloud exposure

Education: Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent
