Qad Technical Consultant

We’re looking for a QAD Technical Consultant with hands-on expertise in QAD ERP technical administration and database management. You will help ensure the stability, performance, and secure operation of QAD environments, and you’ll support end-to-end issue resolution across development, test, and production.You should be comfortable working with QAD technical tools and Progress/OpenEdge database administration, including routine system maintenance and performance monitoring. We expect experience with backup and recovery, performance tuning, security management, and system upgrades. You’ll also partner with business and technical teams to support QAD integrations, reporting, and system enhancements.Because this role involves coordination with global and regional stakeholders, we need strong communication and collaboration skills. You must be fluent in Portuguese and English, and you should be able to translate technical findings into actionable next steps for delivery and operations.

We are Crest IT Resources LLC, a US-based IT consulting and staff augmentation firm headquartered in Plano, Texas. We help mid-market and enterprise companies scale their technology teams quickly by providing pre-vetted, interview-ready engineers through IT consulting, staff augmentation, and managed IT support. For this role, we support a client environment running QAD ERP and related database infrastructure. We’ll work with your availability and expertise to provide technical administration, database management, and environment support across development, test, and production—so business teams can run stable finance and operations workflows with fewer disruptions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in QAD ERP technical administration and database management, including system maintenance, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in QAD technical tools, Progress/OpenEdge database administration, and environment support across development, test, and production systems.
• Experience with database backup, recovery, performance tuning, security management, and system upgrades.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams to support QAD integrations, reporting, system enhancements, and issue resolution.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with global and regional stakeholders.
