Project
Join a team responsible for ensuring quality across a modern distributed platform built on microservices, event-driven communication, and multiple system integrations.
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in validating complex business workflows, integration points, and asynchronous processes. The position requires strong automation skills and the ability to test below the UI layer, working closely with Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Owners.
100% remote work from Poland with occasional business trips to Poland or Norway (approximately 2-4 times per year).
Responsibilities you'll have
- Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks in .NET/C#
- Create and execute integration and end-to-end tests across distributed systems
- Validate event-driven workflows and asynchronous communication
- Test APIs, microservices and system integrationsInvestigate production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate closely with development, DevOps and product teams
- Create and maintain test documentation and test strategies
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement across the platform
Expected competences and knowledge
- Strong experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Hands-on experience with test automation using C#
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
- Solid understanding of testing strategies, test design and documentation
- Experience with microservices architectures
- Strong integration and end-to-end testing experience
- Understanding of event-driven architectures and event-flow validation
- Experience testing asynchronous communication (events, webhooks, websockets, push notifications)
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
