IT Operations Manager

Strategic Staffing Solutions is partnering with a global industrial technology manufacturing company to recruit an IT Operations Manager to join its European IT team in Kaunas, Lithuania.

In this role, you will lead regional IT operations across multiple European sites, ensuring high-quality IT service delivery, driving operational improvements, and partnering with business and plant leaders. You will also lead and develop IT teams while leveraging automation and AI technologies to improve service efficiency and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead IT service delivery, incident management, requests, and escalations across European sites.
• Partner with business, operations, and plant leaders as the regional IT point of contact.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvements, standardization, automation, and governance.
• Mentor and develop regional IT support teams.
• Utilize monitoring tools, dashboards, AI solutions, and automation to improve service performance.
• Manage regional budgets, vendors, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of IT operations, infrastructure, or service delivery experience in a global manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM, incident management, asset management, CMDB, and operational governance.
• Experience with monitoring platforms, KPI reporting, and service performance management.
• Experience with AI-enabled support solutions, knowledge management, or self-service automation.
• Working knowledge of Python or another scripting language for automation and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within Europe.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience in a global enterprise IT environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Ivanti, endpoint management, networking, and identity services.
• Experience presenting operational metrics to senior leadership.
• Additional European language skills are an advantage.
